My mother in law is working a retail job on a 16hr contract. It is 4 hrs a day, 4 days a week.
Is she entitled to claim dole for the other days? They wont give her 2 x 8hr shifts, she has already asked.

She cant survive and pay rent / bills on 150 a week. Is there any options for her?

Check the citizens information website, but as far as I know you can only work a maximum 3 days, regardless of the number of hours.

Thats what I could see too. She would be better off quitting so. Doesn't make sense to me
