Anyone of you lads ever learn to dance? Did you go 1to1 or into a group, I got 2 left feet.Thinking of jive. asked a few of the mates and got mostly "Not a f@@kin hope" so looks like i'm om my own.
I'm 50 by the way and before anyone ask why jive. Meet a lady I was chatting to on POF for a coffee in a hotel about 30 mls from me and I could not believe the amount of single ladies attending a C/W dance, so think its time to get out there and learn and get away from this online dating crap.

If it's a specific type of dancing you're interested in, there's usually beginner's classes around. Are you in/near a big city? It could take a bit of digging though. For example I'm in Cork and if I didn't know there's Tango dancing in the Metropole on a Wednesday it'd be very hard to find information. At least, I think there is - I've never been, but a search a few months ago suggested it's still going on. All I could find was the odd post on Facebook.

By C/W do you mean line dancing? This could be one of those famously ignorant lines, but how hard could it be? Isn't line dancing designed to be simple to pick up? I bet you'd find a Youtube tutorial and could practice in the privacy of your home. Watch out for those cowboy boots though - some have a raised heel and are murder on the calves! :o
