2013 skoda yeti 2l tdi On the way home from work this evening i seen this light come. Any ideas what the cause could be, ive rang my mechanic to book it in for Monday obv

^^^^As above. Just go for a nice main road spin for 1/2 an hour in the morning. No need to go mad. Just give it 10 minutes to get up to temperature and another 15 minutes to regen (above 80km/h and it will do it's thing).
Were you driving in slow traffic, or had you stopped and switched off the engine a couple of times, before the light came on ?

Car does on average 500 to 600km, mix of motorway and town driving. I had left it into the red today for about 15km until i refueled. Parked the car at work. Light came on about 10km after refueling. Felt sluggish after light came on.

I still had 30km to go to get home

However i had it parked up for the past few days
