Hi just looking for some info for booking Cambrills for 2 weeks next year either July or first 2 weeks of August
2 Adults 3 Kids ( will be 9,5,2 at time of travel)
Looking to fly from Shannon to Reus - these flights are Tuesday & Saturday I think?
Any idea of flight costs at this time?
When do these flights get released?

For the sites it seems to be Cambrills Park, Sanguili and Camping La Siesta.
Do people normally book direct with the site or go through Eurocamp?
I've heard great things about all so not sure which one to go for yet.

We know it's going to be expensive but that's the joys of it at that time of the year.

Any advice for booking direct or through a site much appreciated.

in terms of which park i have gone to both cambrills and sanguli. i think cambrills was by far tidier and more compact and i think your two younger kids would enjoy it but the 9 year old may be a bit bored - depends what that child is used to. the pools are good but if they are into slides etc then its not that good
sanguli i found to be a big rambling site, not as nice as cambrills and but there seems to be older kids on site, but there were younger kids also.
to be honest i was disappointed with sanguli after going to cambrills before it

The 9yo loves the pool and slides the 5 yo is getting better but a good kids club would be a huge bonus and the better pool facilities, slides etc.

there is a kiddies club in both which are harmless to be honest. ours wanted to go but i think it was just to do something different to be honest. from what i could see they were colouring in pictures etc and there was face painting in cambrills but not sanguli.
the evening entertainment in both is excellent and i think it would be hard to find a better alternative for this.
dont get me wrong - the majority of people i speak to loved sanguli but i think it just wasnt for me

Well we've never been to either so I'm sure either would work well tbh plus the beach is close by.
Did you fly or do the ferry?

flew. i wouldnt be sure about the ferry - would be a very long drive
flew to barcelona once and to reus the other time. yes its handier going to reus but you just have to compare the price of taxi from both to the resort and see which is best.

Shannon which is our closest airport did to Reus so that's where I'll be flying to , did you book direct with the campsite or go through the likes of eurocamp?

booked direct - dont ask me why. i didnt compare the prices. i went in end of may/begining of june one year and mid july the other Wasnt warm enough the first one (pool not heated and too cold for younger kids) and was too hot the second (30+ which put the kids off some of the days) so its hard to get it right. i know the prices fall off a cliff come september

Yeah we are kinda tied to July/August so that's just the joys of it for us, I'll be pricing up eurocamp and direct once we settle on which site.

Ok so got some prices for the first 2 weeks in July, looking at 3,643 for Sanguili & 3559 for Cambrills Park.

€1,717 for 7 nights 12 July this year in a tahiti bungalow.
tbh the price they have quoted seems a bid mad. when you factor in food i would say you could get a decent all inclusive some where else for that kind of money. maybe have a look at tui to see whats on offer ( i am not saying that you should book with them) my brother went to club mac in majorca this year and liked it

Were those prices direct or eurocamp? We went 11th- 25th June this year to sanguli and it worked out at just under 3k inc flights, but the price jumps up massively the later you go. That was booking direct.
We stayed in a Masai lodge which we found very small for 2 adults and 2 kids.
However the park itself has so many amenities with 5 pools, plenty of restaurants, kids club etc I would recommend it.
Sanguli is a 5 min walk to the beach from the front entrance, but bear in mind it’s a 15 min walk from the Africa section to the front entrance. If you are going to stay in Africa make sure you are near one of the train stops that they have dotted around the park.

The price quoted is for 14 nights for ourselves.
Looked into all inclusive you'd be looking at around 6000 for family of 5, also hard to get a family room that takes 5 some places were offering 2 separate rooms which is no good.

Our kids would be in school in June and with the way the holidays are working out for us July is the earliest we can go unfortunately.

The prices I've mentioned have been from eurocamp haven't priced with the site directly yet.

For Camping La Siesta is that only available direct with their website?

You should price direct with sanguli. That’s what we done last year and it worked out cheaper than eurocamp. If you really want sanguli or cambrills I wouldn’t delay too much as there were people booking for 2020 when we were there. I know this as we looked into it on our last week and the receptionist said they had a lot of bookings in for next year already.

Prices aren't that much better (they are a bit cheaper) but finding it hard to get accommodation availability for the 2 week blocks that we need and the price is fairly high regardless. Been looking on a group on Facebook people booked in march 2019 for summer 2020 so must be way too late to the party.

Yeah it’s crazy really, sanguli and cambrills are absolute gold mines. We have booked the protur Bonaire aparthotel for two weeks in calla bona in Majorca next year. (Same time in June). We got that for 3150 via tui.
