    Folks,

I know I can't get recommendations on the thread itself but if anyone knows a sparks that really understands storage heating systems could you pm me their name please.

My wife owns a house with electrical heating for the hot water system (timed immersion) and electrical heating for the air (storage heaters)

The storage heating can be ran on a timer ie each storage heater heats the internal bricks at night and releases the stored heat back to the room by day, all ran off timers
    OR
the individual storage heaters can be switched on to immediately heat the room in question.

The system isn't working and I've checked the fuses are good and the room thermostats are in the "need to heat the room" position ie turned clockwise past the point they click. After this I'm not comfortable messing with them so I'm asking for help - if you're used to dealing with storage systems could you PM me your mobile no & I'll call to arrange to inspect the system.

There is a second job in the house where a new socket needs to be fitted in the hall directly under the distribution board, it would be nice to get all this done as well.

    Thank you

Any good electrical contractor would be able to do this. None of them would specialize in storage heaters. Storage heating has pretty much phased out.

We've had several electricians look at it but none of them are familiar with storage heater systems so told us to find someone who has a lot of experience with these systems

I had a guy from <snip>service my storage heaters a few years back. He really knew what he was doing. I don't know if they cover the Cork area though

Mod note: No company names please. Take it to PM.
