Slander question

    Legal question
Jane was bullied by 2 former tenants. Jane took landlord to the RTB for breaches of obligations and other issues etc. Landlord threatened Jane by saying he had reports on her from previous tenants so she applied under data protection act..nothing received. Can further action be taken now as landlord lied and did not produce information on her?

At the hearing/adjudication landlord produced two untruthful and slanderous letters from the two previous tenants about her. Although not entertained by the adjudicator would Jane have a case for defamation or slander as this information was seen by the lanlord and produced to the RTB.

Of many accusations one was assault ,the other going into a tenants room and smashing items. All of which are completely false/lies.
    Would appreciate your thoughts.
