Final interview done. Stewing and over thinking. :)

I have been wanting to move to Denmark for a while now.
I applied for a role at A big bank there and got a first round Skype interview went well.
They flew me over for the second round.
Went great. I got the call to come back for the final round 3 as I arrived in Zurich the next morning.
Flew me over for a third round which I had on Wednesday. To meet hr discuss a the results of the personality test.

Felt it Went pretty well. One of them even asked what I thought of the danesvs the Swiss. I replied with not sure yet. He responded with “ we will ask you in 6 months” ðŸ˜. So the vibe was good.

We discussed my start date. I got an office tour before and after my meeting. I told them I even have an apartment available in Denmark to move for an early September start.

Sent thank you emails both involved in the final meeting the chap who would be my direct manager and the hr rep.

After the interview the person who would be my direct manager told me I’ve done everything perfect so far. He gave me a tour of the office. The work stations.
They should have a decision latest Friday next. He asked me to send 2 references. Which I did within the hour along with my thank you notes. ( they didn’t respond to the thank you notes. But they got it as they called my references)

My references were called the day after (yesterday). One of them got through my current ceo. He gave me a strong endorsement! He texted me after he spoke with them. He played the recorded call for me this morning. It sounded great!


Am I right in feeling confident I’ve secured the role. Because I feel like They have really made me feel comfortable. My friend is Scandinavian and she says the culture is they speak what they mean not bull**** so I feel confident.

What do you think of the play by play above ?

Be amazed if you don't get the job to be honest. Don't fret too much, a lot of people including myself have been in your position, overthinking and analysing everything.

They called your references, thats nearly always a sure sign that they are going to offer you a job.

They would not be wasting their time otherwise.
