Anyone know if the Howth Cycling Club is still on the go? I saw a banner in Sutton Supervalu car park maybe last year (or year before) saying they were looking for members but not much info available on FB or LinkedIn
    Thanks

Think they're gone. Haven't seen any one in their gear out and about in a long time. There's a club down in kilbarrack and clontarf

Even if they are still running, a lack of visibility on the likes of FB or their own website suggests a lack of ambition. If looking for regular spins one of the larger clubs is likely to be better, as if it's a club of 20 or 30 you might find yourself on your own some weekends!

Try Clontarf cc, they are very active.

Thanks guys. I live near the park but work in howth so would have been a good option for post work midweek spins. I might look at Blanch or Castleknock. Thanks guys ðŸ‘

Yes I’ve seen that one advertised. I’m aiming to do a few sportives in the next few months so if I see either team jersey I’ll have a chat with them

Hi, just jumping in. May I ask what Sportives you are looking at doing in the next few months?

I'm looking at one or two myself.

I check irishsportives.ie and have them on Facebook. Worth checking out

Ah yeah, I do check there alright. Nothing up yet for November/Dec.
I think I might do the Carlingford scenic ferry loop sportive anyway. It's only 62km and looks like a good one to ease myself back into the cycling for the winter.
    Cheers for the reply...

Naomh Barrog Cycling Club is close to you (Kilbarrack) and is very active.

Seconded. Not a member myself, but i've turned up for a spin or two and there has always been a large attendence with a good range of levels. Very friendly bunch too.
