I met with my boss last week and requested a cut in my hours. He suggested i take a day a week parental leave over 2 years. My partner is on a reduced rate of disability allowance since i started work and i also get a small wfp. I am wondering if i take his suggested route what would happen to these payments. This is uncharted territory for me.

Lower household income, so your partner asks for the means test to be run again and s/he should get an increase in DA. Your WFP rate is fixed for 52 weeks so won't change until the year is up.
