pre 63 question

We are purchasing a property with a couple of additions, rear extension, garage. The vendors have stated that the additions were built pre 63 and have sworn a decoration that this is the case. By the state of the garage I would believe it is easily over 50 years old, it is currently blocked up I.E. not in use as a garage. We want to open this back up for use as a garage once we verify its structural integrity.

The rear extension is still in use.

Is there anything that would be a red flag issue in that?
