Form 12 waiting time?

I lodged a claim for medical expenses for the last 4 years at the start of the month. Its for a decent amount and the very next day I got a P21 balancing statement to say 1 of the years I underpaid by €110 and it will be collected in 2020.

Nothing since then. I should have received notification of the amount I am due in health expenses for my family by now or is there a long waiting time. I sent an online enquiry but that states that a response to that query could take 25 days.

Any ideas of waiting times at this time of year?

    Cheers

The start of the month as in August? That was 3 working days ago. Give them a chance!

If it was for a large amount then it could be passed for review so you just have to wait. Usually I get my P21 within a few days and the refund a few more days later.

So you waited 4 years and now you want an instant result

I'm not looking for an instant result! I'm asking if anyone has any advice on the waiting time!

4 x (presumably) online f12 submitted 12 July and so far only one p21 issues. That is a bit odd. I’d suggest ringing Revenue. Use the contact locator or the phone number should be on your tax credit cert.

You mean you got no response ie a p21 or you got nothing back money wise?
