How long after being assessed as eligible for HAP allowance does a person have to find suitable accommodation before having to be reassessed?

Yes you need to find the house first as the landlord has to fill lots of details in the HAP application form. Ex: tax cleareance certificate, lpt tax no, pps no etc etc etc ....and he needs to sign it.

Can someone help me with the hlp1 form. My form came back stamped but with a note saying interest relief claimed in 2011 2013 2014 2015. I wasn't living in my current address in 2011 and never had a mortgage. I was under the impression that they don't stamp the form if you had a mortgage but then why add that side note to it.

The house is owned by someone with the same surname. Could that be the reason? But then again I did supply my PPS number with the form

Revenue also scribbled out the 'not' in 'have not applied for tax relief', suggesting that I had in fact applied.
