Does making them a laughing stock count?

I never ruined somebodies reputation but I did have a jealous friend who tried to ruin mine and other peoples, she made up crazy lies about me that I was in love with her, I was stalking her and that I was trying to be her, god only knows what else she spread about me, this was just what I had heard. She had lied about being raped by ex's, accused them of stalking her etc so this sort of thing was common with her, infact I only discovered she was spreading rumors about me after I stopped buying into her rape stories and made it clear - subtly and sensitively that I wasn't falling for her lies anymore, although the lies still continued, she made up a pregnancy story for about 3 months then faked a miscarriage (miscarriages where one of her most common lies), the next week she was apparently having a blood transfusion but was out of hospital the following day and was miraculously recovered enough to go out drinking that week.
Still to this day friends of hers will leave a room if I walk into it and will throw me dirty looks if they see me out, ive never had so much as a conversation with any of these people and sometimes I would love to know what she told them and what extent did her lies go to.
It hurt mostly because I had always been a friend to her through thick and thin, even through the lies she told, knowing her backstory - or thinking I did, I felt she just needed a lot of help. It took me 10 years to realise she was just a bad person that used and manipulated everyone around her.
In the end, her attempt to ruin peoples reputations just made her look bad, she's known by lots of mutual acquaintances as someone to keep away from, her lies will follow her for the rest of her life.

If only her friends knew what she was really like although im sure they will find out eventually as everyone does.
