    Hi all,

Plumber is coming tomorrow to replace my pump, just wondering roughly how it may take him? Assuming no unexpected issues.

    Does anyone have an idea?

Depends on whether he has to drain down the system? Some times they are isolation valves on each connecting flange. That would make it a simple job.
Some plumbers can freeze the pipes and that would have the same effect.
    I'm not a plumber.

    As per post #2.

You might write down the existing pump make/model/speed setting (before plumber renews pump) and when job is complete you might make a note of the same data from the new pump. One reason for suggesting this is that all the replacement pumps are now energy efficient (A rated) and have numerous settings and depending on your CH type can cause problems especially in a vented system with expansion pipe pump over and/or poor circulation, not such a problem with a sealed system (with expansion vessel). The other reason is that I am very interested in the performance of these new pumps.
