Heating system quote and replumbing quote

    Hi all,

    We just got a quote from a plumber for the below and looking to see if it reasonable? We own a bungalow (built in 80s)

    New oil condensing boiler (outdoor)
    11 Thermostats
    11 rads
    new circulating pump
    new 48" x 18" copper cylinder

    supplied and fitted for €5900 - is this good value ?

    All the same as above &
    Repipe the heating system, 3 zones & 3 zone timer
    all repiped from the attic down (not underfloor)
    not using copper pipe

    (wiring of clock and values not included)

    = €8200

    Is this good value ?

    In a nutshell, no. Well, the first price is too high. The second price isn’t too bad
