UFH insulation

    Hi,

I need to decide whether to put insulation above or below the concrete slab. I had decided below seeing as we are going for UFH and air to water. The idea being it'll be on at a v low level pretty much all the time. Therefore the slab will work as a storage heater that will constantly be emitting the heat we need.

I'm seeing differing opinions, it seems my approach makes sense and I can see Kingspan recommend but maybe I'm missing some common sense reason not to go with insulation above the slab.
