    Hi,
I've been living in South Korea the last 3 years and pay into the Korean state Pension system, although my contributions are less than that in Ireland. (Note: Ireland/Korea are linked pension wise)
I have some questions anyone can assist?

    - Will my "lower" contributions in Korea be worth less when collecting Irish state pension?
    - If so, is it worth to invest into a private pension scheme in Ireland ?
    - Can a lump sum be submitted to such a private scheme?

    Cheers!
