Water supply to a spectacle glazing machine

I recently brought a glazing machine to cut down lenses into glasses. It uses water during the lens cutting phase.
The water coming in is generally connected to themains and there is a pipe and bucket underneath that collects the water that flows off.

I have machine in garage and only have tap outside that i am going to connect a hose up to and connect to machine.

I think i can just turn the tap on and the machine somehow stops the water and only uses it when its turned on.

I cannot take the hose off the back of the machine.
Would someone mind taking a look at images to see if that comes off or if its all one connection. (Been on for a while so may just be stuck)

Also are there any fastening things i would need if connecting it up to garden hose to make sure its a tight connection?

If anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it.

What’s on the other end of that braided hose?

Literature suggests you need a male 20*27mm male connector to attach to the other end.

The braided hose was originally attached to the mains supply under the sink.
I dont have a mains supply so i attached a garden hose to an outside tap (video below)

Leakingbat connection point and when i turn machine on no water is coming out of the small hose onto the lens.

Is there a special type of hose i need for this?

    Thanks

    I have to ask,
Do you just do this for fun or are you a business?
You must need a load of gear to make glasses?

Is the water inlet solenoid controlled? You may have to activate the machine before the water starts to flow?
Is there any manual with the machine?
I think the full flow from the outside hose is probably too strong, you may need to have less pressure for the type of cooling you will be doing.
