Hi, I see plenty on here about virgin medias residential service but can anyone advise on how their business broadband service stacks up?

Is it very reliable? Are they flexible with install options etc? How is the general support throughout your contract? Are they good value?
Many questions but if anyone has any opinions on them I'd like to hear them. Thanks.

You get what you pay for.

    yes.

Of course you’ll be paying for it so they will do what ever you want.

    Depends on the offering.

Depends on what you are looking for - they have a cablemodem service, sub-€100 a month, which is a fairly basic small business, best effort offering. No formal SLA. Fairly basic all-in-one modem with WiFi - but I'd recommend putting your own firewall and WiFi in. Reliability - mixed.

Then there's a sub-€1000 a month enterprise offering which is rock solid, formal SLAs, full managed NOC, etc. reliability - pretty rock solid.

i got it in the house. 400/40. a /29 included. I managed to get them to move the phones over to SIP trunks, so i have all VoIP in the house too. no bandwidth caps. modem is "decent" and its bridgeable (you may need to ring). I have my own routers (yea, you can have multiple with the multiple public IPs) and so far, so good. they gave me an advanced heads up for maintenance on the network, though the network was still down during the works, and their SLA is not bad: you can ring their support number and actually get someone during office hours. and they can usually fix it fairly quick.

I have it in a community group premises 100/10, with two landlines
Never had an issue or complaint it's used for educational streams and access points for Wi-Fi. €55 a month (Incl VAT)

Depends on your needs and head count i suppose the package,
They are offering good mobile add-ons at the moment but the three network it uses is woeful.
