Broadband providers Limerick

My family and I are going to be renting a place in Bellevue court on the Fr Russell Road soon. I was wondering what broadband providers people think offer the best deal or best service. Having previously been a Virgin media customer I am leaning that way. Service was pretty good and was usually able to get in contact with customer service pretty quickly when there were issues. My parents have Sky but I have relatively little experience of it. Letting agent said there was UPC previously in the house.

As for needs in order of importance from the deal actual broadband speed is top of the list. My fiancee is dutch so international calls are a plus. TV while nice is bottom of the list but we would like to have some channels in for general viewing (sports are a plus but can't see myself stretching the budget that far). Had budgeted 100 a month max for it.

Any help or experience with any of the providers would be very welcome.

My 2 options would be either Virgin Media or Vodafone SIRO (if available in your area). I switched from Virgin to Vodafone SIRO lately and cant fault it. The only reason I left Virgin was because I could get faster speeds with Vodafone for less money.

Also might be worth looking at Bonkers.ie for a comparison.

Virgin do a good deal with unlimited calls to international mobiles and landlines from the landline.
Think they’re doing the 3 services for €59 a month for 12 months.

Vodafone customer service is the worst I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing but the gigabit broadband is good
