Jobseekers cohabiting, job offer

Hi, myself and my partner have 1 child, we receive one payment for the 3 of us, myself or partner are not working. My question is if I was to work a 39 hour week on minimum wage would he be still entitled to something off jobseekers allowance? I have looked up welfare and citizens advice but can't really understand it.
    Any help appreciated
