2015 diesel Octavia, 70k on the clock. Just bought it and notice a slight judder when laying off accelerator and then pressing accelerator again in 5th gear, she jerks slightly.

Any ideas of that might be wrong?

Flywheel? Does it clunk when you turn the engine off?

Would still think it's the flywheel, by nursing it i.e. dropping a gear b4 acceleration it could last for ages.

Could be something simple like a torn Engine /gearbox mount, you could check for excessive engine and gearbox movement by rocking the car back and forth, with the engine off but in gear and bonnet up , or by rocking the engine with a lever, or have somebody in the drivers seat putting strain on and off the running engine by using the clutch against the brakes ,to detect excessive or clunky movement in the mounts. (Stand beside the car , not in front of it in this case)
