    i'm using virgin media hub 3 in modem mode + tplink router ,tplink dhcp is enable, i disabled it but the wireless devices couldn't connect to it .

    i want to ftp from a pc to a device behind the tp link router all in wired network : pc/hub3/tplink/devices
    the hub ip is : 192.168.100.1 - the tplink ip is : 192.168.0.1

    How can i configure these connections ! the devices connected to the tplink are connected to the internet, i used the ip found in these devices to connect to them via filezilla ,but it seems these ips are not recognised, also i couldn't login to the tplink from the pc, i can login to it over the wifi though from a laptop.

    You can't.

    If you're using modem mode you should connect the TP and ONLY the TP to the hub. Everything else goes to the TP.

    sorry may be i wasn't clear enough, this is how i have everything connected ;

    pc connected to the modem (hub: 192.168.100.1)
    modem connected to the router , tplink.
    the router is connected to the devices, wired + wireless. i'm using the tplink for wifi and not the hub.
    the issue i'm having is that i cant login to router or the devices connected to it from the pc .
    i have tried changing the router ip to :192.168.100.5 , 192.168.0.5 ,and few others ,but none worked .
    as i mentioned before i still can login to the tplink router over the wifi .i guess because it is a direct connection and it doesn't have to go through the modem.

    YOur PC needs to be connected to the TPLInk router and not the VM hub

    The pc isn't on the network, why have you got it connected to the VM hub?

    Don't worry, some Russian lad will have infected his PC soon enough and it'll be unusable due to crypto miners so the problem will solve itself :pac:

    Not going to go into why but should look like this and only this,
    Virgin Hub Modem mode <--> copper cable <--> TP-Link WAN port <--> Everything else either Wifi or Lan ports on TPlink.

    i had the router upstairs and the pc downstairs, it was easier to connect to the modem to the pc directly, but i'll rearrange it to follow this method. thanks for your input.
