Will banks negotiate mortage rate for new customer

Currently have 350k mortgage with 25 years left. I’m with BOI and asked them for a better 5 year fixed rate than what they have advertised, this was a few months ago. They offered an 0.1% reduction to 3.1% I think at the time. KBC were at 2.6% and still are, so told BOI I’d be moving soon.. Looking to go ahead and switch…

Looking to go ahead and switch in next few months (reckon rates may drop a little more across the board), does anyone know if other banks offer lower than their advertised rates?
