Where's the best place to pick up hand tools?

    Also a decent drill kit?

Get your handtools in mcquillans and get yourself a decent 18v makita kit. Batteries are interchangable and you can keep adding to your kit as time goes by,

One of my best buys in recent years

+1 to Makita. Some good generic batteries on Amazon too.

I'd buy dewalt, plenty of power and a wide range of tools at some very good prices

    Thanks for the replies.

    One more question.

Where does everyone get decent fully enclosed led downlights for a good price?

I've used a few of these:

    http://www.lumeno.ie/index.php/featured-articles/led-panels/recessed-led-round-panels/item/11-8w-led-recessed-round-panel

    They're good but 15 euro a pop.
Is there any similar that are a better price?
