    Hi All,
Anyone know what it takes to get a licence for a commercial building? Currently have a storage space in local town which I wish to put into a salon type outlet? Is licence hard to get? What is the cost?

    Many Thanks
    D

What kind of licence are you referring to? I think what you may be looking for is a change of use planning application?

Go a speak to a local arch, they will act on your behalf to liaise with the council.

    Planning
    Fire cert
    & disabled access certificates required.

In excess of 10k for fees, council fees can be found on their website and will be m2 dependent. Parking, waste, fire, fabric upgrades, heating, disabled requirements including sanitary faction etc may all add to cost.
