Hedge or no hedge

Hi I'm just looking for some ideas my driveway on both sides is probably 100m. Don't really want a hedge or a fence looking for ideas if anyone has one. I also have a very steep bank at the side of my house and it's very difficult tomorrow any ideas on what to do.
