    Hi all,
Heading here for a night with the ladies, going shopping, was thinking of driving. So any of you know the best place for parking, or what are rates like?
    Thanks

I'd give serious consideration to public transport, the Davenport is just around the corner from Pearse Station. Onstreet parking is now €3.20 an hour as it's the yellow zone and rates went up on July 1st.

The Davenport has private parking in Fenian St., they charge guests €15 based on check in at 3 p.m. and check out at 12 noon.

The car park in Schoolhouse Lane (Q-Park Dawson St.) has a deal for 5 p.m. to 9 a.m for €10 but as you mentioned shopping, you may be arriving too early to avail of that offer. Be careful not to exceed those hours as the normal rate is €3.90 per hour. Meaning that if you leave at 9:05 a.m., you will pay €13.90.

The Setanta car park off Molesworth St. is probably the most expensive car park in Dublin, they also have a €10 deal for overnight but it's 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. and €4 per hour outside those hours.
