Who are this Obair/LES crowd exactly? I know all about posts regarding JobPath and advice to refuse to sign their PPP. I notice Obair also have a PPP. It also states that your payment can be cut.

Is it the same thing with Obair? Can I refuse to sign the PPP but fully engage with them without sanction? Are Obair a private organisation similar to Turas Nua?

    Obair isn't Jobpath.

It's a local employment service provided often when there isn't a local Intreo office. They operate under a contract with DSP to provide these services, although they are separate local organisations.

Jobpath is a different scheme concerning putting persons into full-time employment for the purposes of commission. LES just provides access to a full range of services and information to aid jobseekers. It's been a while since i've seen one, but i think the PPP is like a Career Action Plan, what you want to do, and the steps you will take to get there. It's relatively inoffensive when compared to TN and Seetec.
