I recently finished working with an aganecy and applied for Jobseekers, the deciding officer granted it, provided I give them a letter stating my work dates, now I've contacted the agency numours times looking for said letter however they keep giving me excuses, someone is on holiday or she was off sick, now the social welfare has sent me a letter stating they will close my claim if I don't produce the letter, I told the aganecy this and they said yes they will email it to me, they still haven't, am I best off going into the social welfare office straight away and explaining they won't provide me a letter? Can they make them send my work dates? I haven't even received a P45 from the agency either

There are no more P45s. You have to create an on line account with Revenue and you can print off what amounts to a P45 from there.
Show SW the email exchange between you and the agency regarding the letter.

It’s so simple for them just to deactivate you from their employment. Absolutely useless shower. Ring up and give out, tell them if they don’t deactivate you and supply you with the letter you require by close of business on Friday you’ll be making a complaint to WRC.

Yeah I will, went to the social welfare and they extended it by a week, I asked them what I should do and they just said keep on ringing them asking for the letter.
