    Hi,
    Based in Limerick.
Has anyone any idea of a fix for this.
Terrestrial Irish channels lost in living room.

So far I've tried the following.
Replaced amplifier as it looked like it was dead(lights were off)
Checked other rooms. TV signal ok
    Retuned channels. (From other room)
    Checked amplifier ( works fine)
Tested tv by plugging directly into aerial ( aerial is fine)
Tested by checking reception while plugged into amplifier ( amplifier works fine)
Checked connections. They all seem to be on good and tight.

This only happened yesterday and in one room.

The problem seems to be in the cable Between the amplifier and the aerial socket in the living room.

    Any ideas?

check and remake connections at each end of the cable would be my initial suggestion, ensuring outer braid and centre core aren't touching.

Faulty/damaged cable another possibility, has anyone driven a nail into the cable? has the cable been crushed or kinked somewhere?
