Is there legislation on the restricted size of vehicles on country/minor roads. All too often i meet 40 ft trucks taking shortcuts near where i live,the road is in ****e and kids are regularly playing close to the road which is only fit for single line traffic. Is there legislation on the restricted size of vehicles on country/minor roads.

All too often i meet 40 ft trucks taking shortcuts near where i live,the road is in ****e and kids are regularly playing close to the road which is only fit for single line traffic.

There is an an alternative all be it 2km longer.

i have seen weight restriction signs but doubt they are ever enforced?
