Illness Benefit Payment Day?

    Can anyone tell me what day of the week Illness Benefit is normally paid to a bank account? My husband received his approval letter with the amount this morning (dated last week) but it doesn't indicate when he can expect his first payment.

    Mine comes in on Wednesdays just after midnight.

    Mine goes in on a friday, bank takes 3 working days to clear the cheque, And it depends when you send in the certs. Mine are posted on Friday, processed Monday and then in the bank Friday.

    If you do internet banking your husband can log into his account and check but i think it''s a Wednesday

    Just checked account its a Wednesday for us but maybe it's different days for different benefits

    We asked about it and apparently its based off the day of approval. We were approved on a Monday, so the payment is processed for Monday - but our bank gets it on a Saturday seeing as they have to send it in before the weekend.
