I cannot see red button option. I have broadband via Eir and sky basic package. I have tried adding channel but message from find channel is no signal found. Is this because I have only basic package? Any help greatly appreciated.

You're in the wrong forum but the post should be moved to Eir/Sky forum

What channel are you trying to get the red button on? Red button functionality was removed from BBC services on the ROI Sky EPG some years back. Sky News closed their red button service years ago.

For the most part the only channels still offering red button functionality are Sky Sports/BT Sport channels and it only pops up when needed - a bit less often now that there are eleven Sky Sports channels.

I have all the BBC red button channels as "other channels" on my Sky basic package.

Unfortunately I couldn't even begin to tell you how I added them, someone on here provided or linked to the necessary info. Some of them are called BBC Olympics, so I suspect it was during the London Olympics that I added them!

Neither bbc1 or 2 showing a red button.
I am sorry to have posted in wrong forum.
I then used add channel to input F11.778 PH 22.000 FEC5/6 but message when added is No signal found.

We added them last week using the information from this link.

Thank you Toto. That is the link I used but I got the message No signal found.
I have spoken to Sky who say BBC not allowing for ROI.
I have also found sky 421 Eir sport 1 HD (a perk of being with Eir). Seems to be showing an alternative match to BBC1 and 2. So a bit more choice but now need to find out if they broadcast or publish which matches in advance.
