Was checking all the keys on internal doors Friday .
Set of French doors in sitting room have always been open so wanted to check which was the right key.
I found the right key alright .........turned it to check lock and now it’s stuck in locked position (door is open so no major issue )
I tried WD40 in lock etc and won’t budge
I don’t want to force key in case it snaps inside it
Will I have to take it all apart?
If so can I free it manually or will I new to have a replacement bought ?

    It’s a union 2 lever lock

The best thing is to throw it out and put in a new one. It’s not worth risking using it again. What if it gets stuck in the locked and closed position?

    It’s never locked though !
It’s the main sitting room double door
I was just checking what the key was for that I found with union on it as the bedroom locks are all Basta
If I get it open the lock will be returned to the place I found it in the back of a cupboard

If you Disassemble these you can usually free them. Give it a try anyway.

    No joy
Took it apart easily but couldn't free it
What measurements do I need to order replacement?

I would just bring it with you. Or see if you can work out what model it is online.

If you have an angle grinder I suppose you could just cut the bolt off.

That did cross my mind !!!!
I was looking at how to take it off as it’s never gonna be locked anyway
Might be as easy just to replace it though
