    They should really just enforce rpz throughout all of Ireland. It’s overly complicated to have a two tier system.

    It highlights that existing tenancies are lower than new tenancies. People maybe more likely to stay in unsuitable accommodation as it’s cheaper than finding a new place.

    I don’t think it will have any real impact on our rental situation as like always, they are trying to stop something from happening rather than trying to resolve why rent is increasing ( increase supply through building more and incentivizing ll to join the market and not leave)
