Ice Cream World Cup

So here it is after the popularity of Omackeral's Chocolate Bar Tournament today. An ice cream world cup. Instead of each category competing in a one off match each category is divided into 8 groups of 4 ice creams in each one.

So here's the rules there will be 5 rounds first will be the group stage, the next will be the last 16, then the quarter finals, then semi finals and final. Two ice creams will progress from each group to the last 16 where it is straight knockout the first will be the ice cream with the most votes the second the ice cream with the second most votes.

The ice creams I have included are all ones which are currently on the market and I have only included ice creams sold as singular ice creams and not in tubs so no Hazelbrook farm or Ben and Jerry's or the like and no favourites from the past like Fat Frogs.

Also I will be taking breaks during this and will not be continuing all day or over night. I aim to get this finished by Monday so that will spread the entertainment over a number of days.

No reason OP couldnt've been allowed to do it when he posted the (well-thought out) thread and had the time.

Had no idea a thread simply being "too much of a good thing" was lock-worthy reasoning. Takes modding to a whole new level.

If so it has to be the Twix Ice Cream.
It is the perfect combination of frozen caramel and thin chocolate. Possibly the most refreshing while also being decedent ice cream bar on a sunny day!

The semi finals would have been loop the loop v brunch and iceberger v classic cornetto

In a hard fought final, brunch beat iceberger by a crumb.

My freezer is empty 'cept for vegetables.
My local shops are closed now and I therefore cannot sample any icecream until the morning.

Last week, I could easily walk to the shops to buy chocolate, putting the chocolate, at an unfair advantage over icecream.

So what I'm trying to say here, is Wibbly Wobbly Wonder.

Hope this kicks off tomorrow....

It’s still around but it had a facelift. Instead of one big piece of biscuit, it has little chocolate coated biscuit balls in it. Tasty but not as good as the original.

For me it would have to be a toss up between a Brunch or an Almond Magnum.

Twix tops Group A, no contest.

Everyone who likes or even just approves of mint ice cream is a deviant.

Had a mint Cornetto today as it happens and by God was it disappointing. Nothing tastes the same anymore

my votes below . i for first place in group ii for second. Group H was the group of death IMO with Split unlucky not to make it out of the group stages. Group B in comparison was very weak IMO. Would have happily ignored that group completely if honest.
