Does anyone know how to do a player trade(it's for another draft league I'm in)? I've read the help guide and I'm still really confused

You would have to have proposed your trade(s) before 7pm last night.
Waiver deadline is 24hrs before GW starts.

Once game is updated tonight, trades can occur between teams.
It will be in the transactions tab.

Trade offers can be made each Gameweek until the waiver deadline.

I had a good look around the site yesterday and I couldnt see a way to initiate a trade. The league has trades all set. Have you done one yourself?

I did a transaction, not a trade.
Almost certain trade was an option when looking at all players.

Trades (waivers or between managers) were an option up until the 24 hours before kick off.

Then it becomes free transfers (can’t think of a better term) from the available player pool for the 24 hour period prior to kickoff.

Then after kickoff trades open up again.

At least that’s my take on it.

Thanks lads. I'm on the transactions page and can the Sign button now so no problems with that option.

I'm almost certain there was was no option yesterday morning to trade on transactions screen but I'll check again next week and take screenshots if it's not there.

In fairness he has Chelsea coverage but more importantly, if TAA doesn't play, Gomez could get game time instead.

I would have refused too.

My thinking was that he has Emerson and I had Matip.

A swap would have meat that he had both Chelsea left backs and I would have had both of the guys trying to play with VVD.

And I was joking with the ‘how could he refuse’

It’s still up in her air as to who will start.

I think it’s 80/20 that Emerson will start.

Probably closer to 50-50 for the Gomez/Matip one but Gomez is very injury prone.

It was myself. Wasn’t one I had to think too hard about really. Gomez is one I will play when fit, almost fixture proof in Liverpool defence. In games where he doesn’t play I’ll have to make sure defender number 4 and 5 are good deputys.

Alonso on the other hand will probably play less and I’m less enthusiastic about when he does play now in this transitional Chelsea team.

I think Emerson will play more but I still value Gomez more than him also when they’re both fit.

Unrelated to my above question -

Does anyone know if a multiple transfer offer is only acceptable if all parts are.

I ask because if I wanted to offer a defender and striker could the other manager just accept one of them ?

So I might offer -

Laporte and Ings

for

Evans and C Wilson

So in this example I’m offering a good defender for a poor defender in the hope I’ll get a good striker for a poor striker.

Would this deal go to the other manager as an ‘all or nothing’ or could he accept the defender part and refuse the striker part ?

Hope that makes some sense.

I’d rather ask than try it and be very sad.

I may go ahead and make a few offers so.

I agree we should talk openly about transfers here.

We could negotiate on the thread and then execute.

Rather than making offers (via the draft website) that would never be accepted.

That said I’m not sure other managers should comment on other managers ongoing negotiations. If that makes sense.

Yeah I had a few trades proposed that I declined but could have been open to talking about including them with another player. Those discussions could happen here instead of me just declining.

Yeah to be honest most trades have to include a mixture of players to tempt the other manager.

Like it’s rare that people want to offer or accept straight swaps.

I had a successful transfer with another manager this week.

Basically Cancelo for Alli.

Edit - by successful I mean we agreed on the deal. The success of that deal is yet to be determined.
