I hold a full Irish driver's licence. I don't think I need an international driver's license for France but can't find a definitive answer online. Can anyone help? Thanks a million.

Nope full Irish driving license is fine. Are you hiring a car or bringing your own? Just remember also the French have some strict law about what you carry in the car - first aid kit, spare bulbs, alcohol breath testing kit.

The bearers of driving licences issued by Member States of the EU or of the European Economic Area (EEA) may use their licences in France for an unlimited period.

OP will be hiring a car. There will be a hi-viz vest in a transparent bag in the glove box.
