Retrofit UFH with oil, HeatPump later

    Hey,

If I buy a second hand house, and assuming it is even possible to do the retrofit, is it reasonable to do it in two phases?: 1) put under floor heating in before we move in, running it off an older oil boiler, 2) after while, replace oil boiler with a heat pump.

The idea is that we would do the really disruptive work (UFH) at the start, put off the expense of the heat pump unit for a while (some time after we move in).

Would new UFH that is suitable for a heatpump be compatible with an oil boiler? Or does the whole thing need to be done at the same time?

    Thanks.

It can be done like this, no problem.
