Fibre Connection

    Hi,

My parents house is in a rural location on a private lane. There is an active fibre line at the end of the lane however there are 5 telephone poles between it and my parents house. I have called their phone company (Pure telecom) but once they put the Eircode in the system it shows that fibre is not an option. Anybody know what options there are in this scenario? I assume the distance is outside of the scope of the rollout, but we would perhaps be willing to pay towards the connection if possible.

There is no facility for paying towards a connection. I'm afraid they will have to wait for the National Broadband Plan.
