    Hi,

Am out on the sick from work and I have to produce a weekly private cert per company rules at a cost of 20e from my GP, so my question is can I claim tax back on this?

    Thanks

    You can claim your 20%.
Keep the receipts and submit the total as part of your return.

    Hi Francie,

If you take a photo of the receipt and upload it to the www.revenue.ie app , then you won't have to keep it at all.
Do the same with the receipt for your visit to doctor and the same with the receipt for the prescription , if any.

View all these medical receipts as money , if you are a taxpayer in Ireland .

There are countless people that fail to claim proper medical expenses each year.
