I cancelled two BOI deposit links today about 31k, they were getting nothing in terms of interest. Now I want to split them into amount into 3 with different places maybe 14k, 10k and 7k I have a PTSB booster bonus and fixed acess and an Irish Life Clear Invest already, I would also like to open up an An Post. Term lengths…

I cancelled two BOI deposit links today about 31k, they were getting nothing in terms of interest. Now I want to split them into amount into 3 with different places maybe 14k, 10k and 7k I have a PTSB booster bonus and fixed acess and an Irish Life Clear Invest already, I would also like to open up an An Post. Term lengths are ok at the moment I could do 3-5 years. Just wondering what amount should I put into which place?

Term deposits provide very poor return, how long do you intend to invest for? If you're looking at more than 5 years I'd be looking at S&P 500 index funds.
