Solar panels heating radiators problem

Last summer during the heat wave the solar panels created so much hot water that it heated the radiators so that they were very hot.
The only way we got rid of the water was to turn on taps.
It has happened twice this year in temps no where near last years.
    Any ideas

Some systems (E.tube mainly) have a ONE dedicated dump radiator with a three way diversion valve for this purpose but it certainly will NOT heat the CH rads. The only way this can happen is if the boiler circ pump is circulating water through the rads &hot water cylinder coil (with the boiler off, not firing). Heat from the hot water cylinder is then transferred to the rads via the cylinder coil. I use this system occasionally and manually on very very hot days (last year). Some systems may be set up to do this automatically but it is pretty unusual IMO.
