Booked a trip to India with British Airways. Fly to Heathrow, short stop over and then on to Bangalore.

The stop over time is the minimum advised for transiting between terminals so beginning to panic about getting held up. And also what happens in case the 1st flight is delayed? Have never booked connecting flights before so don't know what the norm is

If its Aer Lingus + British Airways then I *think* you're changing from Terminal 2 to Terminal 5. I've done this exact trip several years ago and the switch between terminals took 15 minutes once the bus arrived (I can't tell off hand how often buses are).

If there is a problem because your first flight is delayed, thats not your fault and the airline are responsible for accommodating you on another flight.

In general I would say that the airline made these logistics because they believe its comfortable for connection, so I wouldnt worry about it. Make sure you get your shots though!
