Lost key for 2 lever Bedroom door lock

Hello there,

Drunken escapades over the xmas period resulted in me losing a set of keys and while i got a key for the front door cut i never got around to replacing the bedroom one... UNTIL NOW

I was going to just take out the internal lock mechanism and swap it for one i can get in woodies but the one i have is curved and fitted into the door.

The only ones i can see online are straight rectangular shaped licks which won't fit in where the current one is without either cutting off the corners (which i cant do) or else trying to chip away at the frame to make it fit (a rented house so this is a definite no no)

Is there a way to just get a new key or do i really have to go changing the lock?

Its an Easi-T lock and i can upload a pic if required

Sounds like you have the lock out of the door?
If so bring it to your local key cutting service. They should have sets of the most popular 2 lever lock keys.
If you have not had the lock out of the door, most will give you the sets on spec if you leave a deposit and you can find which one fits, return the set and they'll cut you a new copy.
