If a seller signs an agreement with an estate agent to sell a property, would it be improper practice for the agent to subsequently take on the selling of the adjacent property a week later? As in, would the interests of the first seller be impaired by the estate agent subsequently taking on the selling of the second…

If a seller signs an agreement with an estate agent to sell a property, would it be improper practice for the agent to subsequently take on the selling of the adjacent property a week later?

As in, would the interests of the first seller be impaired by the estate agent subsequently taking on the selling of the second property, ie. taking on a competing interest? And not declaring/informing same to the first buyer?

Im wondering is it contravening the SCSI Code Of Practice?

Estate agent is in the business of selling. And the fact that he is selling house B is no business of house A.
