Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there

I am looking to replace my windows and doors with UPVC.

I am getting quotes from:

Munster Joinery
McMahon Nagle
Fairco

and some other smaller suppliers

McMahon Nagle seem to be the only supplier that has a different insulation rim on the windows - rather the a rubber type rim where the opening of the window meets the frame.

Has anyone any knowledge of this or of these suppliers please PM me with your experience.

I have heard bad reports of fairco

why did you go with the above 3 only may I ask?
are senator not supposed be good?
