There's no solvent that will remove expanded foam without also ruining your paint AFAIK.
I'd be checking my insurance coverage and that of the lorry if I could.

You can use Acetone and there is a foam remover product but I've no idea what effect either will have on your paintwork.

There is also this https://www.handyhardware.ie/product/30890/Foam-Eater-Expanding-Foam-Remover-250ml?gclid=CjwKEAjwlujnBRDl2teOp_veulQSJAC5bHgtw4wYrRlxjYZ8Lb_5vE1dy1R0fcHWvjUaCFC6b5W2xBoC_Pbw_wcB which seems to be recommended for removal of foam from PVC.
PVC is fairly unreactive tho, and anytime I've had to remove PU firm it's either be fairly immediate with acetone before its cured/hardened.
Or mechanical removal which is a nightmare when you get to the contact point.

A quick Google around seems to reveal that "Autosmart TARDIS Tar and Glue Remover" does the job. No idea if its true. Got a pic of the damage?

I'll get one when the car returns. Thanks for the recommendation.
