Disability Allowance Granted - Free Travel Pass Questions

    Hi there,

    I have been granted DA, does anybody know how long it takes to get the free travel pass sent out and for cross border travel, anybody know how this works for those who are sub 66 years old? Thanks!

    You full out a blue Social Welfare form every time you travel in Connolly station and present it with your pass at the booking office.

    Your free pass should be with you shortly as far as I know you have to apply for a cross border pass by filling a form from sw office not sure if you mean you are under or over 66 but if under you will not qualify for free travel that starts in the North even with a disability

    A Cross-Border Free Travel journey must originate in one jurisdiction and terminate in the other jurisdiction.
    By bus, the PSC should be presented to the bus driver, on boarding the bus, before departure.
    By train, the Free Travel recipient must first complete a Travel Warrant. Warrants are available in most train stations in NI and ROI
